<p>An audience member says to him,</p>
<blockquote><p>My dad and I were talking about the Tea Party.  What will you do if these people are elected?</p></blockquote>
<p><strong>OBAMA: </strong></p>
<blockquote><p>America has a noble tradition of being healthfully skeptical about government.  That&#8217;s in our DNA.</p>
<p>We came in because, the folks, over on the other side of the Atlantic been, oppressing folks without giving reputation.  The problem with the debate that&#8217;s taken place, and, and some of these Tea Party events is I think they&#8217;re misidentifying sort of who the culprits are here.<strong> We had two tax cuts that weren&#8217;t paid for, two wars that weren&#8217;t paid for. We&#8217;ve got a population that&#8217;s getting older. We&#8217;re all demanding services but our taxes have actually substantially gone down, </strong>and so the &#8212; the <strong>challenge </strong>I think for the Tea Party movement is to identify specifically: What would you do?</p></blockquote>
<p><strong>No, the challenge of the Tea Party movement is to get rid of the Democrats who are creating this mess. </strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #ff6600;">The purpose of tax cuts is to, what&#8230; Pay for government? </span><br />
</strong><br />
<strong>That&#8217;s not the purpose of taxes.</strong> This whole premise here is misguided.</p>
<p>Tax cuts were not paid for?<strong> You don&#8217;t pay for tax cuts.</strong></p>
<p><strong>The whole concept of paying for tax cuts is foreign.  <span style="color: #ff6600;">It&#8217;s wrong.  It&#8217;s irrelevant. </span></strong></p>
<p>By the way, revenues to the US Treasury in <strong>2003 </strong>were in the neighborhood of <strong>$2.1 trillion.</strong> In <strong>2007</strong> revenues to the Treasury were in the neighborhood of <strong>two and a half trillion</strong> &#8211; <strong>Heritage Foundation</strong> citing numbers from the<strong> Obama administration Office of Management and Budget. </strong></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>So apparently government revenues went up from 2003 to 2007 after the Bush tax cuts.  Revenues went up. </strong></span></p>
<p><strong>The same thing happened in the 1980s. </strong></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;">So his whole premise is nothing but a lie. </span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;">Government is the single greatest repository of greed in the world, Washington, DC, including even all the tyrannical dictators around the world.</span></p>
<p>All money is theirs and their little power games such that they believe you end up with whatever they deem is fair for you to have.</p>
<p><strong>You don&#8217;t pay for tax cuts. <span style="color: #ff6600;"> Tax cuts generate wealth creation. </span></strong></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;">The purpose of tax cuts is not to stimulate the government.  It&#8217;s to help the economy. </span></p>
<p><strong>The purpose of tax cuts is to stimulate growth and prosperity in the American people</strong>, which clearly Obama&#8217;s not interested in.</p>
<p>The welfare, the well-being, the prosperity of the American people is not at all something he&#8217;s concerned about.  Otherwise he would be in favor of tax cuts.</p>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>Tax cuts are intended to leave money with the individual who earns the money.  Tax cuts are about private property rights.  Every dollar you earn is yours, until you are forced to pay taxes on it.  Then you have what discretionary income is left for you to spend as you choose. </strong></span></p>
<p>Now, taxes are necessary, everybody knows this.  But the way the Democrats look at it, taxes are a <strong>punishment</strong>. <strong> Taxes are a punishment for people doing too well.</strong> Taxes are <em><strong>class envy</strong></em>; taxes are a way to get even with other people; taxes are a way to buy votes for people who don&#8217;t think they&#8217;re doing well.</p>
<p>Now, the president said we had two wars that weren&#8217;t paid for.  Let me put it this way.  <span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>Medicare is not paid for.  The war on poverty is not paid for.  Social Security is not paid for.  Medicaid is not paid for.  The Department of Education is not paid for.  The EPA is not paid for. </strong></span></p>
<p><strong>Why does he single out the Pentagon when the whole government is in deficit?  <span style="color: #ff6600;">Nothing </span></strong>is being paid for, Mr. President.  <strong>Nothing!  We&#8217;re bankrupt!  The country is broke.  We don&#8217;t have the money. </strong></p>
<p>Everything is adding up to a deficit.  Social Security isn&#8217;t paid for, Medicaid is not paid for, Medicare is not paid for, the Great Society, not paid for, war on poverty, not paid for.  This deficit&#8217;s government-wide.  We&#8217;ve got spending increases, all of the president&#8217;s new regulations. None of it&#8217;s paid for.</p>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>We are on a deficit deathwatch.  That&#8217;s why the Tea Party exists.<br />
</strong></span><br />
Every penny the president spends today and from this day forward is not paid for.  Nothing is paid for that you are buying.  You&#8217;re not paying for a damn thing, Mr. President.  All of us are.  Everything you get&#8217;s gratis.  Your wife&#8217;s vacations, your trips on Air Force One, the perks and the parties.  <span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>You&#8217;re the only one not paying for anything.</strong></span></p>
<p><strong>The rest of us are in hock for the rest of our lives because of people like you.  And you dare to insult us and say that two wars are not paid for, that our tax cuts have led to this problem? </strong></p>
<p><strong>You blame the people of this country?  You are single-handedly destroying the wealth creation engine of this country, and you have the audacity to go to a town hall meeting and <em><span style="color: #ff6600;">blame us? </span></em> </strong></p>
<p>Tax rates are not lower than after Kemp-Roth was passed.  Tax rates are not lower than they were in<strong> 1986.</strong> Tax rates are not lower than they were in <strong>1988. </strong> To the extent that taxes are lower than when Clinton was in office, that&#8217;s thanks to the<strong> Bush tax cuts.</strong><br />
<strong><br />
This president has intentionally bankrupted this country and now he claims that defense spending and tax cuts aren&#8217;t paid for?  But the rest of all his entitlements and the rest of his massive slush-fund spending, why, that&#8217;s paid for, how do you explain that? </strong></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>All the things he&#8217;s spending money on are paid for but a couple of wars aren&#8217;t? </strong></span></p>

<p><span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>So national security, which is a constitutional responsibility, was not paid for but all the rest of this massive bureaucracy is paid for?  Tax cuts, which allows people to keep more of what they&#8217;ve earned the following year is already being spent by the government this year, so they&#8217;re not paid for.</strong></span></p>
<p><strong>Nothing&#8217;s paid for, except his precious little programs.  But everything that impacts us is not paid for. </strong></p>
<p>He keeps spending.  He keeps running up deficits.  He keeps taking care of his <strong>union buddies</strong>, <strong>trial lawyer buddies</strong>, <strong>certain Wall Street buddies</strong>, and then there&#8217;s nothing left for those of you who pay the bills.</p>
<p>Suddenly he&#8217;s concerned about the budget and the deficit after he has single-handedly blown them up out of sight?</p>
<p>So essentially what we&#8217;re going to have to do is keep ponying up for <strong>Obama&#8217;s failures</strong>.  We&#8217;re going to have to keep ponying up to pay for<strong> socialism that doesn&#8217;t work.</strong> We&#8217;re going to have to keep ponying up to pay for huge salaries and benefits for bureaucrats and union people, and we&#8217;re going to have to hear all the while that defense and tax cuts aren&#8217;t being paid for.  This is our fault.  We had the audacity to accept the tax cut, and now we have to pay the price.</p>

<p>Obama&#8217;s constantly complaining about all the problems he inherited from Bush.  Now he&#8217;s inherited Petraeus. <strong> He got Bush&#8217;s general, <span style="color: #ff6600;">who his party and his voters hate.</span></strong></p>
<p>And by the way, <strong>MoveOn.org </strong>has removed their Petraeus ad from their website.</p>
<p><strong>Oh, yes.  Remember that full page New York Times ad, General Betray Us?  <span style="color: #ff6600;">It&#8217;s gone. </span><span style="color: #ff6600;"> It&#8217;s gone everywhere. </span></strong> And their good friends at like-minded Google have removed the ad from their caches, so you can&#8217;t see the ad.</p>
<p><em><strong><span style="color: #ff6600;">Look. Go look for yourself, see if you can pull it up&#8230;</span></strong></em><strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>They hated Petraeus, and now they&#8217;re praising Obama for one of the smartest moves he&#8217;s ever made?</strong></p>
<p>And let&#8217;s not forget the <strong>media</strong>.</p>
<p>The <strong>media </strong>was right in there <strong>beating up on Petraeus</strong> during the hearings in the Senate leading up to the surge.</p>
<p><strong>McChrystal </strong>was a four-star general.  He is gone.  We have not elevated anybody.  We simply took  <strong>Petraeus </strong>from his <strong>CENTCOM commander&#8217;s job</strong> and sent him to <strong>Afghanistan</strong>.</p>
<p><strong>They got rid of McChrystal because he was insolent, disrespectful, critical of the president&#8217;s policies.</strong></p>
<p>So they go out and they get rid of him<span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong> and they hire Bush&#8217;s general</strong></span>, and the same people who are mad at McChrystal for criticizing the policy now say they hope Petraeus can convince Obama to change the policy.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>We still have incompetence, we have cheerleading on parade, we do not have serious accountability going on here, nobody&#8217;s reporting any of this accurately, because it&#8217;s all about Obama.</strong></span></h3>
<p><strong>He hired Bush&#8217;s general. </strong></p>
<p>They&#8217;re celebrating because finally he&#8217;s acting like <strong>commander-in-chief.</strong></p>
<p><strong>The New York Times hated Petraeus so much they gave MoveOn.org a half-price deal on their full-page Betray Us ad. </strong>And they&#8217;re right in there with all of the rest of them today singing Obama&#8217;s praises.</p>
<p><strong>WHERE IS THE HEADLINE&#8230; OR EVEN A SUBHEAD:<br />

<p><span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>It&#8217;s the truth.  It is precisely what&#8217;s happened out there. </strong></span></p>
<p><strong>Obama </strong>January 14th, 2007, during a discussion about the status of the Iraq war, and talking about the Petraeus&#8217; surge.</p>
<p><strong>OBAMA:</strong></p>
<blockquote><p>We cannot impose a military solution on what has effectively become a civil war.  And until we acknowledge that reality, we can send 15,000 more troops, 20,000 more troops, 30,000 more troops, I don&#8217;t know any expert on the region or any military officer that I&#8217;ve spoken to privately that believes that that is gonna make a substantial difference on the situation on the ground.</p></blockquote>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;">Doesn&#8217;t matter how many troops, it won&#8217;t work, no matter how many troops were sent. </span></p>
<p><strong>Biden</strong>, September 9, 2007, talking with Tim Russert<strong> on the eve of the Petraeus hearing</strong>:</p>
<p><strong>RUSSERT</strong>:</p>
<blockquote><p>General Petraeus said in a letter to his troops that we&#8217;ve not had the political reconciliation we thought we would have, been much slower, but there&#8217;s some hope.  Then he said my sense is that we have achieved tactical momentum.  We&#8217;ve wrested the initiative from our enemies in a number of areas of Iraq.  We are, in short, a long way from the goal line, but we do have the ball, we&#8217;re driving down the field.  Is that what you expect him to say tomorrow?</p></blockquote>
<p><strong>BIDEN:</strong></p>
<blockquote><p>I think he&#8217;s dead-flat-wrong.  The fact of the matter is that this idea of these security gains we made have had no impact on the underlying sectarian dynamic, none, none whatsoever.</p></blockquote>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;">That&#8217;s the current vice president of the United States saying Petraeus has no clue what he&#8217;s talking about. </span></p>
<p><strong>September 11, 2007</strong>, on Capitol Hill during the Senate Armed Services Committee hearing on Iraq, Senator <strong>Hillary Clinton said this to General Petraeus.</strong></p>
<p><strong>HILLARY: </strong></p>
<blockquote><p>You have been made the de facto spokesman for a failed policy.  The reports that you provide to us really require the willing suspension of disbelief.</p></blockquote>
<p>She just called him a liar.  She said he is nothing more than a stooge for the White House.  Hillary Clinton, now the secretary of state, this was just three years ago talking about General Petraeus, <span style="color: #ff6600;">who now represents the smartest move Obama has ever made. </span></p>

Amending the constitution, calling for provincial elections, having a law for the fair distribution of oil in the region, reviewing the order on de-Ba&#8217;athification, some of the president&#8217;s own benchmarks.</p></blockquote>

<blockquote><p>This is not a criticism of either of you gentlemen.  This is a criticism of this president and the administration which has set a mission for the military and for our diplomatic forces that is extraordinarily difficult now to achieve.  And there has been no acknowledgement of that on the part of this administration so that we have the president in Australia suggesting somehow that we are, as was stated before, kicking a-s-s.  How can we have a president making that assessment?</p></blockquote>
<p><strong>September 10th, 2007</strong>, Capitol Hill, the House Foreign Affairs Committee on Iraq.  <strong>Robert Wexler questioned Petraeus.</strong></p>
<p><strong>WEXLER: </strong></p>
<blockquote><p><strong>The surge has failed.</strong> In truth, war-related deaths have doubled in Iraq in 2007 compared to last year.  Tragically, it is my understanding that seven more American troops have died while we&#8217;ve been talking today.  Cherry-picking statistics or selectively massaging information will not change the basic truth.  It is my patriotic duty to represent my constituents and ask you about your argument that the surge in troops be extended until next year, next summer.  I am skeptical, General &#8212;</p></blockquote>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;">That&#8217;s Robert Wexler calling Petraeus a liar, essentially.  And now Petraeus, the best move Obama has ever made?</span></p>

<blockquote><p>I believe, myself, that the secretary of state, secretary of defense &#8212; and you have to make your own decision as to what the president knows &#8212; that this war is lost.</p></blockquote>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;">We&#8217;ve got an inept commander-in-chief. We got some of the media pretty much admits hasn&#8217;t been a commander-in-chief up until now &#8212;<strong> and I am still not inspired. </strong></span></p>
<p>We have the Media in uncontrollable joy over the choice of&#8230;<span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>Bush&#8217;s general! </strong></span></p>
<p>Who they all claimed to say was a lying and only doing Bush&#8217;s bidding.  They impugned his honesty and his integrity. They accused him of losing the war with his strategy.  <strong>Now, all of a sudden, this is the best move Barack Hussein Obama has ever made. Really??<br />

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In every health care speech, Barack Obama claims that seniors&#8217; Medicare benefits will not be cut under his health care takeover. To those who point out that seniors will indeed face cuts, Obama accuses them of spreading <strong>lies and misinformation</strong>.</p>
<p>Enter Douglas Elmendorf, head of the nonpartisan CBO, Congressional Budget Office. Doug told senators that under the health care plan in the finance committee, Medicare Advantage would be cut by more than <strong>$100 billion dollars </strong>over ten years. Those cuts would,</p>
<blockquote><p><strong><span style="color: #ffffff;">&#8220;reduce the extra benefits that would be made available to beneficiaries through Medicare Advantage plans.&#8221;</span></strong></p></blockquote>
<p>Obama and his Democrats are proposing cuts to make Medicare &#8220;wither on the vine&#8221; for grandma and grandpa. <strong>They&#8217;re going to slice and dice benefits for the elderly, the most vulnerable among us.</strong></p>
<p><strong> </strong> The bottom line here is that Obama and his Democrats &#8212; <strong>lie</strong>.</p>
<p>Obama&#8217;s White House reacted quickly, releasing a statement</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;health insurance reform will strengthen Medicare for seniors, not diminish it&#8221;<br />
&#8230; blah, blah, blah.</p></blockquote>
<p>But it doesn&#8217;t take a brain surgeon to figure out who is lying; <strong>every plan the Democrats offer has Medicare cuts all over it. </strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #ff6600;">Ho</span></strong><strong><span style="color: #ff6600;"><span style="color: #ff6600;">w c</span>an you cut billions without cutting care?</span></strong></p>
<p>One last thing. Mr. Elmendorf, you&#8217;ve called Obama out. So any day now you can expect Jimmy Carter and Nancy Pelosi to accuse you of being a racist &#8212; along with everybody else who won&#8217;t fall in line behind Obama Care.</p>
<p>(That does not include <span style="color: #ff6600;">Moammar Khadafy</span>, however, who loves Obama and wants him to be president forever.)</p>

<p>It&#8217;s a <strong>Holocaust in America</strong>.  Health care is the equivalent of a Holocaust in America.</p>
<p>Can you imagine if a Conservative or a Republican had uttered these words?</p>
<p>With Democrats, you die before you&#8217;re born!  You don&#8217;t even get a chance at health care if the Democrats are in charge.</p>

<p>I have to admit, my response to the question of Pro-life is quite simple and easy to explain:</p>

<p>Nancy Pelosi who really got all this started by calling half of Americans Nazis who were showing up at congressional town hall meetings.  And then you had the White House describe these people as unruly mobs, then you had the White House dispatch union rent-a-mobs to intimidate Americans exercising their right to free speech.</p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #ff6600;">FACT: </span>Prior to Hitler, German socialists attempted to remake and order their country using health care as the springboard and the foundation.</strong></p>
<p>Same thing that&#8217;s happening here.  <strong>Hitler was a man of the left.  Nazi is simply the term for the national socialists of Germa</strong><strong>ny.</strong> The national socialists and their domestic policies, short of the Holocaust, have far more in common with what Obama is doing than with anybody on the right.</p>
<p>Now we&#8217;ve got a guy, a Democrat on the floor of the House, comparing Republican desires on health care to the Holocaust.  The Holocaust, six million people were murdered on the basis of their religion.  <strong><span style="color: #ff6600;">There is nothing comparable to that in this country ever.</span></strong></p>
<p>There are not people dying in this country because they don&#8217;t have health insurance.  There are people who have health insurance who die.</p>
<p>Pro-lifers are said to be hicks, hayseeds, a bunch of religious fanatics and so forth. <strong>We still stand up for the proposition that all men are created equal, that the spirit of our creation includes a yearning to be free.</strong></p>
<p>We&#8217;ve got some wacko Democrat going to the floor of the House saying that we are running a Holocaust <strong>when in fact if there is a Holocaust in this country it is abortion, and there is a particular party that has been responsible for pushing it.</strong> And that would be the<span style="color: #ff6600;"> <strong>Democrat Party</strong>.</span></p>
<p>The closest thing we have to a Holocaust in this country is abortion, on demand, and now we got a health care bill where there will be taxpayer dollars used to facilitate abortion.</p>
<p><strong>Now, I don&#8217;t want to be misunderstood here because I&#8217;m not trying to make any woman feel guilty about it. We&#8217;re talking strictly politics.  <span style="color: #ff6600;">But the truth is the truth.</span></strong></p>

Â This is the paragraph that describes his legislative track record of history: Â &#8220;In early 2009, Grayson responded to comments by talk radio personality Rush Limbaugh, in which Limbaugh stated that he wanted the policies of President Barack Obama &#8216;to fail.'&#8221; Most of this paragraph is about me, is my point. Â They recite verbatim what I meant when I said I wanted Obama to fail: &#8220;Look, what he&#8217;s talking about is the absorption of as much of the private sector by the US government as possible, from the banking business, to the mortgage industry, the automobile business, to health care. I do not want the government in charge of all of these things. I don&#8217;t want this to work. So I&#8217;m thinking of replying to the guy, &#8216;Okay, I&#8217;ll send you a response, but I don&#8217;t need 400 words, I need four: I hope he fails.&#8217;&#8230;&#8221;] by saying, &#8220;Rush Limbaugh is a has-been hypocrite loser, who craves attention. His right-wing lunacy sounds like Mikhail Gorbachev, extolling the virtues of communism. Limbaugh actually was more lucid when he was a drug addict. If America ever did 1% of what he wanted us to do, then we&#8217;d all need pain killers.&#8221;</div>

Steele) were forced to apologize to Limbaugh for criticizing him, Grayson released a second statement, in which he said, &#8216;Iâ€™m sorry Limbaugh called for harsh sentences for drug addicts while he was a drug addict. I&#8217;m also sorry that heâ€™s bent on seeing America fail. And Iâ€™m sorry that Limbaugh is one sorry excuse for a human being.'&#8221; Â That&#8217;s Alan Grayson, Democrat, Orlando, and that&#8217;s the paragraph from his legislative history at Wikipedia. Â It&#8217;s all about me and I never heard of the guy. Â I never heard of the guy &#8217;til his lunatic rant about Republicans: &#8220;If you get sick, die quickly,&#8221; and now apologizing to the dead and their families we haven&#8217;t voted sooner to end this Holocaust in America, meaning the lack of nationalized health care.</div>

Â Do the dead listen to this guy? Â He apologizes to the dead and their families that we haven&#8217;t ended this Holocaust. Â I just want to remind everybody that Democrats kill people before they&#8217;re even born.</div>

I got a whole bunch of my constituents in Baltimore dying because they don&#8217;t have health insurance.&#8221; Â They circle the wagons around their own lunatics. Â We throw our courageous people overboard. Â We dump our courageous people faster than people swat flies and mosquitoes at a backyard barbecue. Â But this is 180 degrees out of phase. Â Yeah, Snerdley, I will say it again, if there is a modern-day Holocaust in this country, it is abortion. Â And there is a particular party that promotes it and elects candidates and nominates judges on the basis of their position.</div>

<blockquote><p>&#8220;Fearful that they&#8217;re losing ground on immigration and health care, a group of House Democrats is pushing back and arguing that any health care bill should extend to all legal immigrants and allow illegal immigrants some access.  The Democrats, trying to stiffen their party&#8217;s spines on the contentious issue, say it&#8217;s unfair to bar illegal immigrants from paying their own way in a government-sponsored exchange. Legal immigrants, they say, regardless of how long they&#8217;ve been in the United States, should be able to get government-subsidized health care if they meet the other eligibility requirements.  &#8216;Legal permanent residents should be able to purchase their plans, and they should also be eligible for subsidies if they need it. Undocumented, if they can afford it, should be able to buy their own private plans. It keeps them out of the emergency room,&#8217; said Rep. Michael M. Honda, California Democrat and chairman of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Now, does anybody recognize the flaw in this?  Aside from the utter <strong>illegality </strong>of it, and aside from the brazenness, they&#8217;re actually out there,</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>&#8220;We gotta insure, we gotta make health care accessible for illegals.&#8221; </strong></p></blockquote>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>Shoring up their spines on the contentious issue of health care and immigration? </strong></span></p>
<p>The flaw in this, why would an illegal buy health insurance when the emergency room&#8217;s right there.  Why would an illegal do it?  There isn&#8217;t going to be a private plan to buy into anyway.  Why would an illegal risk registering and then pay the fine for not having health insurance, when the emergency room&#8217;s right down the street?</p>
<p>So the real ploy here is to use <strong><span style="color: #ff6600;">l</span></strong><span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong><span style="color: #ff6600;">eg</span>al immigrants as a wedge to get illegal aliens </strong></span>taxpayer subsidized down the road.</p>
<p>The illegals are going to be covered.<strong> That is the objective.</strong> Obama says no, but he has to say that.  <strong>That&#8217;s why the number 47 million uninsured miraculously became 30 million</strong>.</p>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>There&#8217;s nothing new here&#8230; same old intentions from the same old liberal agenda.</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;"><span style="color: #000000;">Joe Wilson was/is right.Â  The whole damn Democrat Party is a LIE.<br />

<p>That&#8217;s more people without health insurance, and guess what? What better thing can happen to Obama, more and more people to lose their health insurance, <strong>demanding it</strong>.</p>

<p>Unemployment is approaching 10%. We are $13 trillion in the hole. Our government is borrowing and printing money almost as fast as they can spend it. And Obama wants to throw more money away on government-run health care.</p>
<p>We&#8217;re eight months into his Stimulus plan and we are worse off than we were. And yet he opens the speech to the Congress with the <strong>biggest lie</strong>&#8230;</p>

In all, 358,471 properties in the United States received foreclosure fillings in August, just slightly below July&#8217;s record level of 360,149 properties. &#8216;The August report demonstrates that there is still an ample supply of properties filling the foreclosure pipeline even while the outflow of bank-owned REO [real estate owned] properties onto the resale market is being more carefully regulated.&#8217; â€¦ Michael Barr, the Treasury&#8217;s assistant secretary for financial institutions, told a House Financial Services subcommittee Wednesday that even if the Home Affordable Modification Program is a success &#8211;&#8221; this is where Obama will keep you in your house, &#8220;&#8211; we should still expect millions of foreclosures.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>And yet we&#8217;re coming back from the brink of the economy. Our plan is working. We saved a million jobs.</p>
