I just want something simple, like the TRUTH!

Last Friday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi went on the attack.

In a CNN interview, she said:

“[The] President of the United States [is] a total failure, losing all credibility with the American people on the economy, on the war, on energy, you name the subject… [W]e are trying to sweep up after his mess over and over and over again.”

Pelosi is deranged.

I mean that.

The Messiah, Barack Obama The Most Merciful, was just in Iraq, pimping unearned foreign policy credentials off the backs of President Bush and the military. The entire Democrat leadership said the troop surge would not work; they never supported the war effort, or the troops.

Now they’re positioning themselves to take credit for crushing a terrorist threat they denied ever existed.

As for the economy: The “subprime” loans that fueled the housing crisis were demanded by… Congressional Democrats. Higher food prices are tied to wacko environmental policies that put biofuel ahead of fossil fuel production.

The entire energy crisis can be placed at the feet of liberal Democrats like Nancy, Harry, Barack, and Al Gore — who would rather see you ride a lawnmower than have affordable gas for your cars and your SUVs.

Public education. Health care. Immigration. The culture. You name the subject — everything that liberal Democrats touch, fails. Their answer is to tell you to do more with less, embrace declining standards, and be happy about it.

There is one Party that owns failure — lock, stock, and barrel: Democrat Party… they seem proud of it.

The New Yorker magazine has a cover out, and of course Obama and his side are going nuts.

Now, the New Yorker is a bunch of socialists, a bunch of liberals. On the cover of The New Yorker, a satire making fun of the way some of the right wing supposedly thinks about Obama. It’s got Obama dressed up like Mohammed, with a big white turban and sandals and so forth, and his wife, Michelle, is a big afro-haired terrorist with an AK-47 or something slung over her shoulder and they’re doing the fist bump in the Oval Office, and the flag is burning in the fireplace and so forth. A photo of Bin Laden is over the fireplace while the flag is burning.

So the Obama campaign’s going nuts about this. The Democrat Party is going nuts about this.

These people cannot take it. They just cannot take it. I mean, the New Yorker, here we have a bunch of liberals and they’re having to explain the fact that people don’t understand this is satire.

Liberals have no sense of humor.

But here’s the thing about humor, keep in mind who’s doing this, folks, the New Yorker. These are rock-solid liberals here. Now, all good comedy has to have an element of truth in it or it isn’t funny, and the Obama people are saying that this isn’t funny. Some of the ways George W. Bush has been caricatured over the term of his eight years or Condoleezza Rice or whatever, I mean these people need to grow up out there.

Obama and all these people are upset about this New Yorker cartoon.

Well, who is it that gets upset about stupid cartoons?

Muslims, radical Muslims, radical extremist Muslims are the ones that get upset over cartoons.

Democrats have exactly what they want. They have been touting all this crap about conservation.

They have been hoping for higher prices for a long time, to try to affect people’s behavior.

They don’t like the way people behave with affordable gasoline, they don’t like it. They want to control people’s behavior as much as possible.

The dirty little secret is they like you being unhappy with the gas price, they like you being on edge, they like you being ready to blow your top every time you pull in there to the gas station to fill up.

They want you mad.

They want you blaming it on Bush.

They want you blaming it on the Republicans. They want you suffering.

They want you in the frame of mind that you’re in.

That’s why Pelosi’s out calling the drilling a distraction, it’s a hoax, it ain’t going to happen for ten years.

It’s not even ten years. You know, that’s another myth about this. Where did this get started, takes ten years, that’s another one of these Media figures like there were three million homeless when there never were, probably get this done in four or five years in certain places. But that’s not the point.

They don’t want to drill for anything. They don’t want a bigger supply. As it turns out they’re going to get one anyway because people are using less.

Pelosi, she had a press conference in Washington, a portion here of what she said.

PELOSI:

It’s the economy, Mr. President. It’s the economy. It’s about jobs and people not having them. It’s about their standard of living and purchasing power, their income going down because of the increase in the price of gasoline and groceries and health care and education, as others have mentioned. This economy needs the president’s attention, and he doesn’t need to have any diversionary tactics about drilling offshore, what did he say the other day, if we could only drill offshore, the economy would be better. That is a poor excuse from a president of the United States.

She’s not irrelevant because she’s speaker of the House, but frankly it’s embarrassing to me to have somebody this willing to sound this naive. I don’t know how naive she is. I don’t even know how stupid she is. I don’t know her personally. But she’s willing to sound dumb, if she isn’t dumb. She’s willing to sound ignorant, if she’s not ignorant. She’s willing to sound obtuse, if she’s not.

I think this woman is so partisan politically that it clouds her perception and view of reality at all costs. I think this woman is 100% total politics, and the political prism through which she looks through everything is destroying President Bush and Republicans. Which is fine, by the way, if that’s what you say, that’s politics as it is; but these people hide behind the notion that what they really want to do is help you, what they really want to do is elevate you. They’re standing in the way every opportunity they get. They’re the ones that like you suffering.

I know that sounds brazen, and I know it sounds a little harsh, but they do.

Folks, it isn’t me saying this. They’ve said it themselves over the years. Back in, I guess, the early 2000s, when Dick Gephardt was still around, he was all excited the stock market was plunging. He said that every ten point drop or every hundred point drop in the stock market, we pick up another seat in the House. They were looking happily at the misery that some Americans were experiencing.

She sits there and calls it a distraction. Barbara Boxer’s out there contradicting her, saying we want to drill, too.

Hardball with Chris Matthews, and he said to her, “Senator Boxer, do we need to start drilling in places we haven’t wanted to drill before?”

BOXER:

I maintain that when you have two oilmen in the White House for eight long years and you see gas prices go up 300%, to turn around to blame the Democrats in Congress just…doesn’t…wash. The oil companies have gotten everything they want. It’s time to say, “Use it or lose it.” Of course there are places we can drill, but I want you to know something. There are a lot of jobs that also come out of a beautiful, pristine coast, in certain areas of our country. In my own state, for example. In Washington state. In… Off the shores of New Jersey, for example, and many other places. North Carolina. I could go on. The fact is that is a $70 billion coastal economy, two million jobs. So of course we want to drill.

Oh! Of course you want to drill! How did I miss that? Of course Pelosi wants to drill, and “two oilmen in the White House for eight long years as the gas price go up 300%”?

We didn’t see gas prices go up for six long years, Senator Boxer, we saw gas prices skyrocket when Pelosi took over the House of Representatives.

I mean, them’s the facts, ma’am.

Here’s Mitch McConnell, Fox & Friends. The question: “Senator, Nancy Pelosi was talking about the Strategic Petroleum Reserve yesterday, releasing ten percent would barely affect the price of gas. The approval rate you mentioned of Congress 18%, so how long can they afford to sit and not approve drilling and not reverse that ban?”

MCCONNELL:

That silly proposal to open up 10% of the SPRO, strategic reserve, that’s about three and a half days’ worth of oil. They also said we ought to prohibit American exports of oil. You know how much oil we export every year? It all goes to Puerto Rico, by the way, an American territory, and it’s about a half a day’s use of oil in the country. I mean, this is absurd. Nobody’s going to believe that any of these proposals they’re talking about are real.

McConnell’s right. Why did they make them, then? Why does Pelosi say get 10% of the strategic reserve? And why does Pelosi say we need to stop exporting oil? Is it because they’re stupid? No. It’s because they know (or they think) that most of their voters are stupid. So they will say what they think most of their voters will believe.

So Pelosi says, “Well, release from the strategic reserve. Why, there’s no reason for the government to hoard that oil,” and she has visions in her head of stupid, idiotic Democrats and liberals out there cheering, going, “Yeah, yeah, yeah,” and you throw in the, you know, “eight years of two oilmen in the White House.” They’re counting on the stupidity of their own voters. Look, these are liberals, folks. They look condescendingly and arrogantly at people.

So it’s not that they’re necessarily stupid, although the jury is still out on Pelosi — well, and Boxer, too. But it’s they know that their voters are stupid. And they think more than just their voters are stupid.

Stop exporting oil from America? What they realize is that their dolt voters will hear that and go, “What? We’re exporting oil while we’ve got gas prices this high,” and that will make ’em even madder. ‘Cause they know they’re not going to follow up and listen to Mitch McConnell hours later with the truth.

So this is how they operate, and this is precisely because they want you mad. They want you upset; they want you suffering. They want you so ticked off that you can’t wait to go into a voting booth in November and just literally scratch out every Republican name you see.

That’s their objective.

Joe Biden:

“If John McCain wants to know where the bad guys live, come back with me to Afghanistan. We know where they reside, and it’s not in Iraq.”

Now, there is a lot of outrage over this comment.

What’s wrong with it is this.

We have been in Iraq fighting the agents and emissaries of Bin Laden and Zawahiri, and they are bad guys. They have beheaded reporters. They have beheaded troops. They have beheaded contractors. They are pure evil. The US military has been facing pure seventh century evil in Iraq, and a number of our troops have paid with their lives. A lot have been severely wounded.

Senator Biden here has just whisked that away. He’s just made it sound like that was irrelevant. This is a profound insult, once again, from a prominent Democrat to members of the United States military. He thinks he’s insulting McCain when he in fact has insulted the United States military, which is typical of a Democrat today. This is their perspective. Their level of understanding on what’s happening is missing in action. All the while they think of themselves as the smartest people in the world. Speaking of McCain, the media and the Democrats are all over McCain. They’re trying to attack him here on his hero status and on the qualifications that his service in the US Armed Forces provide him to serve as president.

MCCAIN:

I know how to win wars. I know how to win wars. If I’m elected president, I’ll turn around the war in Afghanistan just as we have turned around the war in Iraq, with a comprehensive strategy for victory. I know how to do that.

All right, so there’s McCain, and the sum total of his comment was I know how to win wars, I’ve done it, I’ve been there, I’ve done it. So on MSNBC’s Hardball last night, Chris Matthews was talking with the fourth or fifth chief executive of Air America, Mark Green, who said this about McCain.

GREEN:

What war did McCain win? And he spent Vietnam, his biggest war, of course, in a POW camp as Wesley Clark struggled to say accurately, but impoliticly, Eisenhower ran a war, McCain did not. The comparison is so silly.

So here these guys are out attacking McCain. What war did McCain win? He spent Vietnam, his biggest war, in a POW camp. Wesley Clark struggled to say accurately, Eisenhower ran a war, McCain did not. What this means is they know their candidate is vacuous. They know their candidate has literally no credentials whatsoever. Obama has no credentials on national security. He is flip-flopping all over the place on Iraq. He has removed his original statement on the surge being a failure, that it won’t work, he’s removed it from his website.

The only chance these people have is to go out and try to tar and feather McCain’s big qualification here and to say it doesn’t count for anything, so what, five years in a prisoner of war camp. In fact, not only does it not count for anything, it means he couldn’t possibly know how to win a war. He ended up being taken prisoner.

The undertone of this is, is that McCain is incompetent because he was so stupid to be shot down. What war did he win? I am not sure the people in the McCain campaign understand just how vicious this is going to end up being. Maybe they do…

On American Morning on CNN, John Roberts was talking once again to Senator Biden. He said, “How does Senator Obama instill confidence in the American people, that he can do those things as well as McCain, commander-in-chief things?”

BIDEN:

You have brilliant, relatively young man who is the nominee of the Democratic Party, who’s leading John McCain on every area except the one where experience just intuitively suggests people think if you’re experienced, you must know more. But 20 years of experience that has not been very solid in terms of being — projecting what was going to happen doesn’t make you a better commander-in-chief. We don’t need as a commander-in-chief a war hero. John’s a war hero. We need someone with some wisdom.

Joe Biden saying this about Barack Obama, who has exhibited none. Wisdom comes with age and experience, and Obama hasn’t lived long enough to have any of either.

This is Biden, January 30th, 2007, in an interview with The Observer.

BIDEN:

I mean, you got the first sorta mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice looking guy.

There’s Biden drawing a line between Obama and the Jackson. Obama was clean. If Biden feels this way about McCain’s lack of qualifications, why didn’t he end up saying this about John Kerry, who served in Vietnam? John Kerry served in Vietnam. We don’t need a war hero. War hero doesn’t mean anything. We need somebody with wisdom. We don’t need any war hero stuff. It was just four years ago that the Democrats thought they were going to coast to victory because they finally found somebody in their party who they thought could be passed off as a war hero. But they couldn’t pass Kerry off as a war hero because he was not one. But they thought they were going to be able to get away with it. Now all of a sudden war hero doesn’t matter, wisdom matters.

And of course Obama has demonstrated wisdom how?

I wonder if the liberals would think that McCain is qualified to be president if he had been a community organizer at the Hanoi Hilton. If he’d been a community organizer at the Hanoi Hilton maybe the liberals would see him as qualified there, maybe.

By the way, Joe Biden angered Joe Lieberman.

Fox & Friends

LIEBERMAN:

Joe Biden should retract that comment out of respect for —

REPORTER:

The troops have died.

LIEBERMAN:

The troops who have died there fighting the bad guys. Hey, Osama Bin Laden said that Iraq is the central battlefront in the war against terror. It’s because of the bravery of our troops under General Petraeus who knew the bad guys were in Iraq that we’ve got Al-Qaeda on the run, and we’re about to score a great victory.

Obama goes out and makes a speech on Iraq and how we’re going to pull out of there, not gonna make this mistake again, and I really think he doesn’t know we’re doing well because the media is not reporting it. If the media does not report we’re doing well, he doesn’t know it.

By the way, Senator Lieberman is toast if the Democrats win this election. They’re going to throw him out of the party as fast as they can.

They don’t like mavericks in their own party.

Yesterday, Barack Obama attempted to refine his anti-war credentials.

He claimed the Iraq war has diminished “our security, our standing in the world, our military, our economy, and resources” that we need to meet the challenges of this century.

Now, my friends, it’s been almost seven years since 9/11. We have disrupted terror cells all over the world — and here. While operations in Iraq and Afghanistan are the most visible, our military has successfully prosecuted the war on terror worldwide. Contrary to Obama’s claims, our military is not diminished. It remains the envy of the world, as does our economy. Only a fool would argue that America is less safe.

And there is a Party of Fools out there — the Democrats.

They have vehemently opposed American victory in the war on terror. They spent the last seven years undermining the troops, and attempting to deny them the resources that they need. And now the Democrats won’t even praise our success in Iraq.

Before running for president, their leader, The Messiah Barack Obama, spent 143 whole days in the Senate.

His sole contribution to the war effort is taking off his flag pin because, he said, a pin doesn’t constitute patriotism.

In this war, the only “single-minded” focus has been the Democrats’ focus on power — at the expense of American security.

My friends, in a sane political environment, this speech would have sealed Obama’s political fate. Then again, in a sane political environment, he wouldn’t even be a contender for president — nor would McCain, for that matter!
