Frustrated Incorporated
I just want something simple, like the TRUTH!

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is in Iraq, and he dismissed US accusations that his country’s training extremists and demanded that the Americans withdraw from Iraq.

Once again the president of Iran utters Democrat Party talking points.

“Mahmoud Ahmadinejad spoke in a nearly hour-long conference at the end of his visit, and he said that US allegations that Iran’s training Shi’ite militants who target American troops and Muslim rivals don’t matter to the Iranians. ‘Of course American officials make such remarks and such statements, and we don’t care, because they make statements on the basis of erroneous information. We can’t count on what they say.”

Anyway… he’s urging the US to get out of Iraq just as the Democrats are. So once again, our enemies line up with the Democrat Party.

No insurance company, no politician or government bureaucrat knows better than you about your family’s health needs. You should have the right to purchase health care and health insurance as you see fit without governmental restrictions or penalties, and you should not be of the mind that your neighbors have to buy it for you.

It is not complicated. It is very simple. We get liberalism out of it; we get socialism out of it; we disabuse people of the notion that liberals have impressed them with that it is a right.

I am hell-bent on as many people as possible understanding the truth, the greatness of this country, how it works and how it is going to be sustained.

Health care is not a right, it is a privilege. It’s a choice.

However, the accumulation of wealth is a right.

That is, you have a right to freely earn an income and dispose of it as you wish: purchase food, purchase shelter, if you want to purchase health care, whatever else. And that right comes from God as enunciated in the Declaration of Independence.

The pursuit of life, liberty, pursuit of happiness.

The right to accumulate wealth exists for all of us, but health care is an expenditure, therefore it is not a right. Besides that, folks, we have Medicaid for the poor. We have Medicare for senior citizens. We have the S-CHIP program for poor children and, if the Democrats get their way, children up to 25 who come from wealthy families.

What we also have in this country are some people who don’t want to use their own assets to pay for their own health care. They want someone else to do it.

And that brings in a very happy and compliant Democrat Party.

It is a matter of individual priorities.

Moral obligations, are actually higher on the list of things than rights. That’s why we set up systems to take care of the indigent, because we are a moral people. It is why we have Medicare; it is why we have Medicaid; it is why we have S-CHIP. At least it’s why we started them.

It’s why good people support them. We can get into an argument here of whether these programs are more of the same liberal drivel to create as many dependents as possible.

I think we are a compassionate country, and we are a country that understands our moral obligations to people who can’t provide for themselves because of certain things, and those people nobody will argue with, being taken care of and helped.

That is precisely why we set up systems to take care of the indigent.

It is why we take care of our neighbors. It is why we have our churches engage in the various community actions that they do and, not to mention, there’s all kinds of other community organizations that exist for the express purpose of bringing things to poor, indigent people that they don’t have and can’t have on their own.

This is a country of high moral obligation, and we meet those moral obligations at all times. That is why, because we have such a moral obligation, and because we are such a compassionate people, and because we are such a generous people, this is why we try to lower costs and increase competition so that more people can be taken care of well, so that people are not left to fall through the cracks.

Now, this doesn’t mean that any of this is a right. It is our moral obligation as a society that has us take care of people who otherwise could not afford this.

I would submit to you that the whole notion of having your neighbor pay for what your responsibilities are can be very addictive, once it starts. Rights are the lowest claim and therefore command universal respect.

Privileges and moral obligations are higher than basic human rights, not dragged around by them.

Human rights do not dictate moral obligations; it’s just the exact opposite. Moral obligations manifest themselves in the form of human rights, and so when our moral obligations and our morality is being torn down and the whole concept of doing things for the right reason becomes doing things for the wrong reason.

When people opt out of their own personal responsibility to acquire that which they want with their own assets and shove that on all the rest of us.

That’s where we are in health care. Precisely because we have allowed enough people to believe that health care is their right, not their responsibility.

“It is, what it is.”

This story on Politico.com.

“Hillary Clinton’s campaign is set to announce later today that she’s on track to raise roughly $35 million in the month of February, a huge month by any standard measure of political fund raising and her best of the campaign.”  Now, “Obama raised $36 million in January, and appears to be on track to surpass that figure this month.”

So $35 million for Hillary; over $36 million for Obama.  We’re looking here at $72 million!  Where in the hell is this money coming from?

We’ve hear that economic growth came to a screeching halt in the first quarter.  Was it the first quarter, or adjusted fourth?  It’s 0.6%, whatever it is.  The economy has come to a screeching halt.  We’re headed to a recession, right?

The point is, whether it’s true or not, the American people think we’re headed to a recession.

The American people are feeling very pessimistic about the overall economy, even though they’re robustly optimistic about themselves.  I know it’s a disconnect.  The attitude’s the attitude.

Now, where in the hell is this money coming from?  We got gasoline heading to four bucks a gallon; it’s already there in some places. We have people who can’t pay their mortgages and are being foreclosed on. We got people now can’t afford food because of biofuels and the cost of wheat and the cost of corn.

How in the world are people giving $70 million in one month to two Democrats?

Where is this money coming from and how come these Democrats out there raising all this money aren’t saying, “Don’t give the money to me! Keep it for yourself because we’re in a recession and you’re going to need it to buy gasoline and food, and you’re going to need it to pay your mortgage.”

Why aren’t they saying that?

They’re begging people for their money, in the midst of all this malaise, supposedly.  But I still want to know where it’s coming from, because they say it’s being raised on the Internet.

This is awfully curious to me. You mean to tell me that in the midst of what people think is a failing economy, that they’re still running out to give money to Hillary and Barack?  Well, they may be.  You might have the janitors, dishwashers, teens, etc. They might be flourishing.  That’s my point.

Where is this coming from?

First:

With crude oil hovering over a hundred bucks a barrel, Nancy Pelosi scheduled a vote to raise taxes on America’s oil companies. To the tune of $18 billion. That tax increase, naturally, would be passed on to you, the consumer. Some of the money, say Democrats, would be used to invest in “alternative energy sources.”

Second:

The Democrat-Party-inspired move to produce more ethanol has already led to soaring food prices — which you are paying every day. And now a new safety threat’s emerged. Huge tankers laden with ethanol now crisscross American highways, but many fire departments don’t have the special foam that’s needed to put out the ethanol fires — which are more intense than gasoline fires (water doesn’t work). The ethanol foam costs about 30 percent more than the foam used to put out gas fires, so cash-strapped communities are left totally exposed.

Third:

Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid recently declared that coal used to generate electricity is, quote, “ruining the world.” Henry Waxman, California Democrat, supports a ban on new coal-fired power plants. Now Democrat attacks on the coal industry are getting the desired results. Big Coal is “donating” millions to candidates this cycle, mostly to Democrats. The No. 1 recipient is Barack Obama. The No. 2 recipient, Hillary Clinton.

Just call it “protection money.”

Now, what do these three news items have in common?

They represent just a fraction of the cost — of the left’s manmade global warming hoax.

This is from the DailyTech.com, a science website.

All four major global temperature tracking outlets — Hadley, NASA’s GISS, the UAH, and the RSS — have data showing that global temperatures have dropped big-time.

Does this mean that Al Gore is out of a job? Does it mean that they should rescind his Nobel Peace Prize?

World temperatures, according to the Hadley Centre for Climate Prediction, is the chart that is exhibited below:

Global Temps. Chart
Global Temps. Chart

…and you can see the sharp drop over the last year. It is a huge drop.

More snow and ice cover the northern hemisphere than at any time since 1966. The 12-month-long drop — now, get this, because this is crucial — the drop in global temperatures this past year has wiped out one century of warming. We went up one degree Celsius, we think, in 100 years, in one century.

In one year, it’s been wiped out.

“Over the past year, anecdotal evidence for a cooling planet has exploded. China has its coldest winter in 100 years. Baghdad sees its first snow in all recorded history. North America has the most snowcover in 50 years, with places like Wisconsin the highest since record-keeping began. Record levels of Antarctic sea ice, record cold in Minnesota, Texas, Florida, Mexico, Australia, Iran, Greece, South Africa, Greenland, Argentina, Chile — the list goes on and on.

No more than anecdotal evidence, to be sure. But now, that evidence has been supplanted by hard scientific fact. All four major global temperature tracking outlets (Hadley, NASA’s GISS, UAH, RSS) have released updated data. All show that over the past year, global temperatures have dropped precipitously,” a degree in one year.

And, you know what? Scientists such as Drew Thornley, he’s a policy analyst at the Texas Public Policy Foundation’s Center for Economic Freedom and the Center for Natural Resources, and a new Planet Gore contributor chimes in on the inconvenient truth of global cooling.

New data from these four major global temperature tracking outlets show that world temperatures last year dropped .75 degrees Celsius, large enough to wipe out virtually an entire century of warming.

“Multiple researchers have linked global temperatures to levels of solar activity. This all may be due to a changing solar cycle,” Go figure…

This is profound.

So despite the fact that the anecdotal evidence has been matched up with true scientific evidence, the faithful who buy into this hoax will not be separated from their faithful belief based on this because they have too much invested in their own feeling of mattering and relevance and contributing and bla bla bla…
