How can we ever hope to fix anything when liberals keep breaking anything that works?

If you listen to the liberals, you would think a Boy Scout meeting is a gathering of homophobes. They are 12-year-old kids! Even if they know what gay means, and they become homophobes? Do they even care?

What happens to them in the Boy Scouts is they learn values.

They learn public service, skills, crafts, teamwork, survival, discipline, and the liberal answer to that is, “Too bad! They don’t meet our politically correct standards.”

Three current headlines and an additional one for spite…

“Murder Rate in Philadelphia Skyrocketing,” reports Bianca Solorzano. So far this year, there have been 103 homicides, more than New York.” That’s from CBS News.

From the Christian Science Monitor:

“With more than triple the US average of African-American homicides, the city is battling to protect kids from gunfire.”

From the Philadelphia Inquirer: “Philadelphia had the highest murder rate among the nation’s 10 largest cities last year…”

From the New York Times, December 6th.:

“Boy Scouts Lose Philadelphia Lease in Gay-Rights Fight — For three years the Philadelphia council of the Boy Scouts of America held its ground. It resisted the city’s request to change its discriminatory policy toward gay people despite threats that if it did not do so, the city would evict the group from a municipal building where the Scouts have resided practically rent-free since 1928. Hailed as the birthplace of the Boy Scouts, the Beaux Arts building is the seat of the seventh-largest chapter of the organization and the first of the more than 300 council service centers built by the Scouts around the country over the past century.”

So while the murder rate in Philadelphia skyrockets to the point that they are asking civilians to help the cops police neighborhoods, the Boy Scouts are being told to scram because they’re homophobes.

This is what I mean: How can we expect to fix anything when liberals keep breaking everything that works?

And that is exactly and precisely what I meant to say.

They keep breaking everything that works, because the things that work can be tied directly to the traditions and institutions of this country’s history and founding, and those traditions and institutions are under assault.

Anything that works, must be broken. – Liberal and Democrats, specialty talent.

HARRY REID: Interrogations were by using water torture, something that originated in 1492, by Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand in the Inquisition.

Hundreds and hundreds of years later, the great America has reverted to what took place in the Inquisition? This latest news of destroyed tapes raises far more questions than we have answers. For example, who is responsible for destroying these tapes? Why? Was something being covered up? The possibility of obstruction of justice is very real. The American people deserve a full accounting for what took place, and answers for all these questions.

Maybe so, Harry, but the first guy you need to question is your own Intel committee chairman, Jay Rockefeller, because he knew the tapes existed, he didn’t say a word. He knew they were going to be destroyed. He didn’t say a word. He didn’t know when they were going to be destroyed. They didn’t tell him when they’d been destroyed, but he knew, he didn’t say a word. Then over in the House, Jane Harman, she knew the tapes were going to be destroyed. She knew about them before anybody else did, along with Jay Rockefeller. She didn’t say a word. When she found out the tapes had been destroyed, at least she sent a letter of protest to the CIA, but Jay Rockefeller didn’t. So you better bring those two up and make ’em your first witnesses.

This guy is just insufferable and just loves taking to the Senate floor and trashing his own country, waving the white flag of defeat. “The surge won’t work, we’ve already lost.”

In a sane world, this man would have been so shamed over just the last six months.

He hasn’t succeeded in one thing in terms of legislation in the Senate. He’s offered, along with Pelosi, something like 60 resolutions to stop funding and get us out of Iraq. He has lost every one of them. He is the most ineffective leader of the Senate in my lifetime and Pelosi is the most ineffective speaker of the House in my lifetime and beyond.

They are walking jokes.

John Kiriakou, CIA agent, interviewed by John Roberts:

ROBERTS: “So this was performed on Abu Zubaydah . To the best of your knowledge, how long did he last?”

KIRIAKOU: It’s my understanding he lasted 30 or 35 seconds, which is quite remarkable.

ROBERTS: He had been resisting all of this time. Then within 30 to 35 seconds, he suddenly folded up and said, “I’ll give you anything you want”?

KIRIAKOU: The next day he told his interrogator that Allah had visited him in his cell during the night and told him to cooperate because it would make it easier on the other brothers who had been captured.

It works, is the bottom line. Thirty to 35 seconds. It works.

ROBERTS: “Well, the big argument with torture is the suspect will tell you anything you want just to stop the torture. Was that true in this case?”

KIRIAKOU: No. We were concerned about that. But the information that he provided was vetted, and it was corroborated. So we were able to point to specific cases where we were able to disrupt terrorist attacks based solely on the information that he provided. I have no doubt that the information gleaned from Abu Zubaydah in his early days stopped terrorist attacks and saved lives. He talked a lot about Al-Qaeda’s leadership structure and mentioned people who we really didn’t have any familiarization with, told us who we should be thinking about, who we should be looking at, who was important in the organization, so we were able to focus our investigations.

Yeah, it works. Democrats say it doesn’t matter.

Thirty-five seconds, and Abu Zubaydah caved, and the information worked, and the Democrats and the liberals tell us that torture is ineffective because people say anything to get out of it and to stop it from happening. And, of course, waterboarding is horrible, just absolutely terrible, terrible, terrible.

One question,

1. Would these protesters, as in Senator Harry and others, would they rather have had the country attacked than the waterboarding occur and the attacks prevented?

An excellent question in a sane world.

I hear a lot, “We wouldn’t want the enemy doing this to American GI’s…”

Personally, I would rather undergo waterboarding then beheading.

Religion, without freedom, is exactly what radical Islam is.

It’s tyranny.

They’re a strong religion but no freedom, whereas freedom without religion is anarchy and total hedonism, which is the modern Liberal Party.

Democrats’ are furious. Harry Reid’s furious. Democrats at large are furious. They’re not acting like winners at all, folks, they’re not acting like winners at all.

They run the House; they run the Senate; can’t get anything done; can’t do anything right.

Now, may I ask a very simple question?

Do you find it strange that when the non-covert Valerie Plame was outed, the Democrats went ballistic.

They just had a fit. “You are threatening this woman’s life. You are destroying her career. Somebody must be frog-marched out of the White House to pay for this. Who do you Republicans think you are?”

Prior to this, Democrats never gave a rat’s rear end about the CIA or anybody in it, by the way.

Now all of a sudden they’re so concerned for the safety and the future of a brilliant non-covert operative, Valerie Plame. Now that the CIA tries to prevent real covert agents from being unmasked, they go ballistic over that, too.

Are you confused by this, ladies and gentlemen? It seems rather, what, contradictory, to be so concerned about the identity of a non-covert desk analyst being outed and yet they want to know who the hell these operatives were, that’s what they want to know.

There’s a third point here.

This is the CIA. Their job is to learn and keep secrets. They are not a video production house for either Senate or House Democrats or the American TV networks. Very strange indeed, ladies and gentlemen.

JOHN ROBERTS: Dramatic disclosure from the CIA. This morning the spy agency is admitting it destroyed tapes showing extreme measures being used in the interrogation of two Al-Qaeda operatives!

KIRAN CHETRY: The agency admitted it destroyed two videotapes!

CHRIS CUOMO: The CIA is admitting this morning it destroyed videotapes!

RUSS MITCHELL: …destroyed the tapes.

ROBIN ROBERTS: They admitted, destroying video tapes of severe interrogations.

DAVID SHUSTER: Why do they have to destroy the video because they fear, OHHHHHH!

No, it’s because they keep secrets, you idiots! It’s the CIA, for crying out loud! What are we talking about? Are they a video production company for you people?

I’m sorry to rant. I really am, but… It’s the CIA. They are supposed to keep secrets! Good grief. What do they expect? The CIA to make these tapes available?

Yes, they do, because they’re not interested in national security. They just want to go after the people who are protecting us. I don’t think it’s ever going to happen.

Terrorist are people that would kill you as soon as look at you. They’d do it in the most vicious and brutal ways. We’re dealing with a new breed of human debris here.

We’re the United States of America.

We are the lone superpower of the world.

The things that are being discussed regarding Iran have to do with our self-interest, our own national security, and protecting the free flow of oil at market prices is clearly in the top ten of US national security, maybe in the top five, and it may be even number one.

We cannot farm out our national security. We cannot farm out our national interests to others who have really no interest in ours because they know we can take care of ourselves.

I really don’t understand the idea, let them handle it, let them take care of their own — we’re talking nuclear here! If Iran gets hold of, say, the Saudi oil supply and its own, do you want to live in that world?
