“Why did Obama go to Baghdad?”

He said that bringing US troops home is tied to making Iraq stable and not a safe haven for terrorists. Talking to military at Camp Victory, he said,

“You will be critical in terms of us being able to make sure Iraq is stable, that it is not a safe haven for terrorists, and we can start bringing our folks home.”

Now, that sounds like the Bush policy from the get-go. I don’t know how we allowed a camp to be named Victory, but that happened before Obama, so, you know…

I know, weird, but you gotta understand the military named that camp before Obama.

Did you hear that he’s going to have to talk to Iraqi leaders on the phone because a sandstorm prevented the helicopters from getting where they had to go. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was going to apologize for us being there.

I mean, what else has he done everywhere he stopped on this tour but apologize for the United States one way or the other?

The whole concept of American guilt predominates this guy’s existence and he considers himself to be part of a minority that has been subjugated and discriminated against, and so he identifies with the world.

The rest of the world is a minority compared to the United States.

We’re a superpower.

In the view of many on the left all we’ve done is stomp all over the world.

He goes over to Strasbourg, France, and he tells Europe that we don’t think enough of them, that we haven’t respected them enough, what were his exact words?

We somehow have not granted Europe, in our own minds, the greatness.

Europe wouldn’t be there if it weren’t for us.

It’s just outrageous what the guy went over there and said. Then he goes to Turkey and he says Turkey’s just like us, Turkey’s not a nation of Christians or Muslims; it’s a nation of shared values and ideas.

Well, we’re not a Christian nation, we’re not a Jewish nation; we’re a nation of shared values and ideas.

Not his. The shared values and ideas that Barack Obama harbors are not the values and ideas that built this country.

That’s what the argument is all about.

Last Saturday in San Francisco, to a mostly Hispanic gathering, at St. Anthony’s Church.

PELOSI:

You are very special people. You’re here on a Saturday night to take responsibility for our country’s future. That makes you very, very patriotic. Who in our country would not want to change a policy of kicking in doors in the middle of the night and sending a parent away from their families? It must be stopped. What value system is that? I think it’s un-American. I think it’s un-American.

LIBERAL TRANSLATION…

The backbone of America, in other words, the backbone of America, illegal immigrants.

PELOSI:

So, what are we left with? We are left with a supposed fact, and the fact is that ICE agents are storming the homes of illegals and taking their kids away from them as a regular standard practice and that this is un-American, enforcing American law is un-American.

I don’t believe that ICE agents, as a matter of course, are storming the homes of illegals and taking kids away from their families.

What kind of value system is it in which aborting babies is somehow wonderfully American?  That’s part of Nancy Pelosi’s value system. What’s worse? Aborting babies or knocking down doors and taking babies away from families?  What’s worse?

Neither are attractive, are they?  But what’s worse?

So here you have Pelosi making this speech to a largely Hispanic audience in San Francisco, and then Obama’s comes out talking about illegal immigration, amnesty, and making sure these illegals come out of the shadows because being in the shadows is depressing American salaries and wages and we need to get these people into unions.

Speak of givebacks, how about all the contributions AIG gave to Obama and Chris Dodd?

They came from AIG employees.

Do you think they should give that money back, campaign contributions?

They gave over a hundred thousand dollars to Chris Dodd and Obama.  Should they give the money back?

Now, Freddie Mac is another GSE, Government Sponsored Enterprise.  Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are basically the same thing.  Fannie Mae was first.  These are “private sector businesses owned by the government,” which of course is an oxymoron.

It’s not possible, and we all know the controversy about Fannie Mae, Franklin Raines and all these guys taking a $90 million. When are they going to give their bonuses back, by the way?

Jim Johnson and Daniel Mudd and Franklin Raines, when are they going to give their bonuses back?  They were kicked out of there for fraud at Fannie Mae?

There’s a story that Freddie Mac is going to need maybe $150 billion in bailout money to stay solvent because it just is not working out for them either.  But Morrissey points out that in the annual report, Freddie Mac…

“has a generous retention bonus plan built into its operation for the next year.  Eligibility includes all of the senior and executive VPs.  It comes in four payouts, and only the last has any connection to company performance.  It’s Exhibit 10-4 on page 414-5.”

It lays out the program.  Retention bonuses scheduled next year at Freddie Mac, and they are sizeable bonuses to be paid out four times to executives.

I’ll tell you, you’re being worked up into a frenzy here and you are being SCAMMED.

As much of the capitalist system as they can destroy, they will.

They will at least send it on a downward cycle, which creates the need for government.

They did it with Hurricane Katrina.  They do it with everything that goes wrong.

Any damage they can inflict in the capitalist sector of this country, they will do so to create a crisis and say,

“Only we can fix this.  See, this doesn’t work.  See, this is immoral.  Look at all the people hurting, look at all the people in pain.”

And then they’ll point to AIG which got bailed out,

“Look at all these rich people, look at all their bonuses.”

And nobody will remember that the bonuses were authorized by Obama.

These bonuses were authorized, they were required to be placed by Obama in the stimulus bill.

Have you seen the news of the tea party in Cincinnati last weekend?  Thousands of people showed up.

These tea parties are blossoming and growing all over the fruited plain.

People are fed up, and I’ll tell you what, it’s not about bonuses to AIG people.  That’s not why these tea parties are taking place.

These tea parties — God love you people doing them. These tea parties are taking place because people are tired of paying the freight for people who refuse to work, they’re tired of paying mortgages for people who are making no effort to pay them.  They are tired of bailing out failed companies.  They are tired of things like unions and card check being forced on small business.

These tea parties are a direct result of an outrage at this administration for trying to wipe out the fundamental building blocks of this nation’s founding.

That’s what’s under assault, capitalism and this nation’s founding, and that’s what these tea these tea parties are all about. They’re not happening because of bonuses to people that work at AIG.  One hundred fifty tea parties have taken place or are planned across the fruited plain.

Notice how we never hear about all these from the Media.  Boy, didn’t they enjoy the Anti-War Protest?

I guess destroying the country from the inside of government doesn’t seem to interest all the elites in the media now the Democrats are running the show.

For the last 8 years, I remember being told…

“It’s Patriotic to criticize the President, the Military and about anything they could come up with…”

Aren’t we just being patriotic?
