In 2001, African-American civil rights icon [and] three-term Atlanta mayor Maynard Jackson ran for head of the Democrat National Committee. But a Clinton henchman, Terry McAuliffe, wanted the gig. So Maynard Jackson was kicked to the curb and humiliated. Heartbroken, he died two years later.
In 2002, New York Comptroller Carl McCall — the first black to hold statewide office in New York — ran for governor. Not only did Clinton henchman Terry McAuliffe withhold DNC funds, he publicly derided McCall’s campaign and humiliated him.
Now it’s 2008. Barack Obama — first African-American to win a Democrat primary — faces Clinton, Inc.
First, Clinton campaign workers were caught spreading false rumors about his religion. Then her campaign urged the press to investigate whether Barack was a drug dealer in his youth. Next, Mrs. Clinton said Barack is too ambitious and hasn’t done enough, quote, “spadework.” She also said Martin Luther King’s efforts wouldn’t have amounted to much without the white guy, Lyndon Johnson. Mr. Clinton called Barack’s presidential aspirations a “fairytale.”
Well, here’s the latest:
Hillary Clinton sent out a powerful black TV executive to remind people that a youthful Barack used drugs… while the Clintons were emotionally connected to black people. And now Mrs. Clinton has accused Barack of injecting race into the campaign, when they are the ones who did so!
So my question, brothers and sisters, and my fellow Americans, is this:
Are you catching this “history” in the making? Are you paying attention to this? Hmmm?

Democrats are making all kinds of election-year economic stimulus programs — which, of course, will not stimulate anything but their own political fortunes.
Senator Clinton’s approach is to destroy the housing sector by freezing foreclosures, which would plunge banking and mortgage holders further into debt.
Congressional Democrats are calling for tax rebates, extended unemployment benefits, and more food stamps.
The last time Democrats proposed tax “rebates”, they were for people who did not pay taxes. Extended unemployment benefits only stimulate higher unemployment, by giving people no incentive to go to work. And food stamps don’t even enter the ballpark as a stimulus.
If you want real ECONOMIC STIMUS, try this:
- Turn off the Media. You will be amazed at the difference in your perception of the economy, the country, and your life when you get rid of the daily gloom-and-doom from the Media.

If you know somebody truly in need, don’t hand the problem off to faceless bureaucrats in Congress who won’t do squat — help them yourselves.es, too.
- Stimulate your own economy! Don’t depend on the government.Teach them to help themselvment; don’t live in fear of the future.

 Work harder; make more money.
Don’t feel guilty!
The last thing we need is more welfare and big government programs. This country’s economy thrives when liberals are not in charge.
- Do your part for a healthy America.

- Oh, and last but not least, show Democrats the door in November.

  That is real economic stimulus!

I’ve seen a lot of the television over the weekend with the debates and the forums and the Media coverage.
I have to tell you something, I’m getting sick and tired of this whole notion of change.
Change what?
Even some of the Republican candidates are now picking up on this mantra, that we must have change.
The dirty little secret is that most of the American people don’t want dramatic change, even these people in focus groups who say they do. Status quo always seems to ring true. Change, you know is miraculous; any kind of change is going to be wonderful and good.
You can do a lot of things to cause change that are very, very bad. The kind of change that Obama or Clinton or Edwards would bring about is horrible change, the kind of change that Mike Huckabee would bring about, not good change, the things that McCain would bring about, not good change.

Huckabee said in defining Reaganism, “We need to make sure that we communicate that our party is just as interested in helping the people that are single moms, who are working two jobs, still just barely able to pay the rent as we are the people at the top of the economy.”

“You know when I’m asked which of the current group of Democrat candidates I prefer to run against, I always say it really doesn’t matter. These days all those candidates, all the Democrat leaders are one and the same, they’re all NEA, MoveOn.org, ACLU, Michael Moore Democrats. They’ve allowed these radicals to take control of their party and dictate their course. So this election’s important not just to enact our conservative principles, this election’s important to salvage a once-great political party from the grip of extremism and shake it back to its senses. It’s time to give not just Republicans, but Independents and, yes, good Democrats a chance to call a halt to the leftward lurch of the once-proud party of working people, the Democrat Party. So in seeking the nomination of my own party, I want to say something a little unusual. I’m asking my fellow Republicans to vote for me, not only for what I have to say to them, for what I have to say to the members of the other party, the millions of Democrats who haven’t left the Democratic Party so much as their party’s national leadership has left them.”
