Frustrated Incorporated
I just want something simple, like the TRUTH!

In a speech delivered to Wall Street leaders and investors, the top imam of the environmental-fascist movement, Al Gore; delivered a fatwa on American businesses. A jihad against our way of life, if you will.

Instructing investors to purge themselves of stock from companies too reliant on eeevil fossil fuel, Gore said this:

“You need to really scrub your investment portfolios, because I guarantee you — as my longtime good redneck friends in Tennessee say, I guaran-damn-tee you — that if you really take a fine-tooth comb and go through your portfolios, many of you are going to find them chock-full of subprime carbon assets.”

Now, what the hell are “subprime carbon assets”? Who the hell knows! Al Gore pulled that out of his fat carbon asset.

But I do know this:

If you take a fine-tooth comb to evidence of the impending destruction of the earth from man-made global warming, I guaran-damn-tee you’ll come up bald! This entire crisis is manufactured by socialist zealots — fueled by fear-mongering, anti-capitalist hysteria.

And if Wall Street investors were stupid enough to do what Al Gore wants — that is, ditch their investments in businesses that rely on fossil fuels — our economy would shut down! Because, folks, oil is the fuel of the engine of freedom. America runs on it. The whole world depends on a healthy American economy!

To compare owning stock in legitimate businesses, using legitimate energy sources, to subprime mortgages demonstrates the lack of fuel inside Al Gore’s subprime brain!

THE REAL CAUSE OF GLOBAL WARMING, — FINALLY DEFINED

It’s very interesting…

I remember back in 1996 with the Bob Dole and Bill Clinton campaigns.

Bob Dole, of course, was in the Senate. He was the majority leader, with a Republican control the Senate.

And the Media and a lot of people started saying, “How can you serve in the Senate and run for president at the same time?”

And so Bob Dole quit the Senate.

Now we jump forward to 2008, and we have three senators running for the White House, and I haven’t heard a word from anybody about any of them resigning the Senate in order to campaign for the presidency — have you?

I did see some story last week that McCain might be considering it, but not Hillary and not Obama; neither of them supposedly even considering quitting the Senate race.

Fascinating here, how things change…

FISA

The Senate passed it. The House of Representatives, recess without ever taking the bill up; meaning our intelligence capabilities will, in many, many ways cease to exist. This is unconscionable.

This is not politics. They’re playing politics with this.

This is Pelosi, who is denying that the surge is working — and, by the way, even the New York Timesthis is so huge.

There are big, far reaching measures that have reconciliation written all over them in Iraq. The Sunnis and the Shi’ites are doing a Rodney King, and they’re getting along. And who cares why? You know, the Media has been trying to say, “Well, it’s only because the US military lucked out. The US military lucked out.”

No, it has nothing to do with luck.

The surge caused this. The surge has worked!

The surge has brought about this political reconciliation because it has limited the damage and busted up Al-Qaeda in Iraq, making it less attractive for Sunnis to associate with them.

They’re also sharing oil revenues, despite not having a law to share oil revenues. So this is huge. The surge has worked. Pelosi just this week denied that it has worked on the basis of her political calculation that there is no reconciliation in the government, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

Now they’ve taken up the FISA bill in the House by ignoring it. It would mean the lapse of our surveillance authority at midnight tonight. At that point, we’re back to going and getting warrants from the FISA court, which can take weeks. By the time we get the warrant to listen in, the conversation’s over.

… can you say,“Bend over and grab your ankles…”

This is not politics. This is something that directly affects the national security of this country.

And the Democrat leadership in the House is responsible for this.

God help us all.

There’s an Associated Press story on this FISA business out there about how Congress has failed to re-up the FISA program.

Bush is going to go ahead and go to Africa.

The legislation passed on Tuesday in the Senate lapsed because the House didn’t even take it up.

Recess started at noon today… I think. I don’t know if they’ve actually left yet, but they are taking a week or ten-day recess.

Surveillance can continue against known terrorist groups but any new groups that form, NO SURVEILLANCE — (laughing) — all you gotta do, “Okay, we are no longer Al-Qaeda. We are Il-Qaeda, Incorporated, and you can’t surveil us.”

But the AP story, the headline is:

“Bush Says Congress Putting US in Danger.”

The headline should be: “Bush Says Democrats Putting US in Danger,” because it’s the Democrats in Congress who are holding it up.

The Democrats once again caved on the FISA bill, which contained a clause granting immunity to the telephone companies, telecommunications companies which provided data to the president for its warrantless wiretap searching program. The vote was an opportunity because of the Potomac primary, the vote was Tuesday in the Senate, and we have three senators running for the presidency. We have Senator McCain, we have Senator Obama, and we have Senator Clinton.

It would have been very easy for all three to take a couple minutes off the campaign, head over to Capitol Hill, cast your vote on the very serious issue of American security. Two of the three did so. Congratulations to Senator McCain. He made sure he was there while fighting off this pesky challenge from Governor Huckabee. He voted to preserve the powers of the intelligence agency in the executive branch to defend and protect this country.

Also, hats off to Senatorm Obama. He showed up. He voted. He voted against it. In so doing, he demonstrated he is not fit to lead this country as commander-in-chief. He has voted against every reasonable authority that has come before him in the form of legislation in terms of intelligence and protecting this country. But at least Obama showed up. At least he voted. At least he told the country he’s incompetent.

Mrs. Clinton did not show up. And, remember, as Andy McCarthy at National Review Online points out, Mrs. Clinton had a whole lot to say way back when about Obama’s “present” votes in Illinois, right? And here she doesn’t even show up to vote on the intelligence bill yesterday, the FISA bill. It was a very important set of votes, perhaps as important a set of votes as there had been since she’s been in the Senate. They involved issues that go to the core of her fitness to be president, and she decided she had better things to do than her job. She was in Texas, or at least en route to Texas to make a speech that evening, in which she totally ignored what had happened in the Potomac primary, did not mention Obama, did not mention the vote, she just ignored it.

Pretty much how she treats the threat of terrorism…
